Information as of January 18, 2022

MHI’s goal is to ensure all individuals on site—attendees, staff and venue personnel—remain healthy, safe and comfortable throughout the event. We are monitoring area COVID-19 status and working in partnership with the team at the Rosen Shingle Creek and local authorities. Please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for recommendations on how to protect yourself against COVID-19 and review the current health and safety protocols in Orlando.

As a result of the downward trend in positive cases, vaccination percentages and the lifting of Orange County’s local state of emergency, effective Monday, November 1, fully-vaccinated employees and visitors to City of Orlando facilities are no longer required to wear a face covering, absent any special circumstances. Those who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear a face covering.

MHI is committed to the health and safety of all attendees. Congress & Expo attendees agree to abide by and engage in certain safe and healthy conduct while attending the event. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing a mask at all times in public areas if unvaccinated, social distancing, where appropriate, and not attending the event if you are ill or have been recently exposed to COVID-19. More information on Orlando’s guidelines can be found online.

As a reminder, if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please do not attend the 2022 Congress & Expo.

  • Fever
  • Temperature over 100.4 F
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Dry cough
  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat

Rosen's Total Commitment

The Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) awarded Rosen Shingle Creek the esteemed accreditation into its performance-based GBAC STAR™ Facility program. This acknowledges that the hotel’s protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention to protect guests and associates complies with GBAC’s 20-point auditing system.
To aid in these efforts, the Rosen Shingle Creek has put together a comprehensive ‘Know Before You Go’ document, outlining what guests can expect while onsite. This can be found online.
